Donald Mantel founded Donamarc Water Systems in 1983, selling and servicing reverse osmosis drinking water systems. After a few months Donald expanded the business to include complete water treatment systems. In 1985 pump service was added to Donamarc’s services and in 1993 Donamarc purchased its first water well drilling rig and added both residential and commercial water well drilling and servicing to its services.

 

In 1988 Donamarc opened its first store on Massillon Road in Green, Ohio; Donamarc then moved in 1999 to their current location on 569 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road on Route 619 in Green. From pumps and pressure tanks to bottled water and softener salt, the total water systems store has a full line of parts and supplies for the complete water system.

Donamarc now has over 15 employees servicing the water treatment and drilling needs of over 12,000 residential and commercial customers in the Akron-Canton area and surrounding counties.
