At Donamarc Water Systems Co. we are more than just a water company — we are on a mission to protect Ohio’s groundwater and provide safe, clean drinking water to every household across Ohio.

Today, Donamarc serves more than 26,000 residential, commercial and public water systems statewide, operates over 160 public water systems regulated by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA), and regularly provides commercial services in 44 counties across Ohio. Our headquarters and main retail location in Green, OH, offers a full line of parts and supplies — from pumps and pressure tanks to bottled water and softener salt. We are proud to be the area’s total water systems store.

History

Founded in 1983, by Donald Mantel, Donamarc Water Systems Co. is the leading service provider of water treatment proudly serving residential, commercial, and public water systems throughout Ohio. What began with the sale and service of reverse osmosis drinking water systems quickly evolved into a comprehensive water solutions business — adding full water treatment systems, pump services in 1985, water well drilling in 1993, and public water system compliance services in 2006.

A family-owned and operated business, Donald Mantel pioneered Donamarc out of his home before opening our first store in 1988. In 1999 we moved to our current location at 569 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road on Route 619 in Green. Brandon Mantel, Donald’s son, has been involved with the company since its inception. He became co-owner in 1995 and took full ownership in 2015. Under Brandon’s leadership, Donamarc has continued to grow, expanding services and reaching more Ohioans than ever before. Donamarc has now proudly entered its third generation. Brandon has been instrumental in expanding the company’s capabilities — leading the launch of our water well drilling division, creating a specialized OEPA compliance division, and reinforcing our commitment to service, quality, and education.
